Product Overview
A roll forming machine is a device that continuously bends and shapes sheet metal, typically used to produce various profiles with regular cross-sections, such as C/U-shaped steel, floor decking purlins, color-coated steel profiles, door and window frame profiles, and keels. Its working principle is as follows: a flat strip of steel or sheet is fed into the machine frame and passes sequentially through multiple sets of forming rollers (forming stations). Each set of rollers performs small-amplitude bending and shaping on the sheet, gradually achieving the target cross-sectional shape as the material passes through the entire roller system. To ensure forming accuracy and stability, the equipment is usually equipped with a feeding/leveling system, automatic feeding and positioning, roller adjustment and height/gap control, and hydraulic or servo-driven forming and straightening modules; some models also integrate cutting mechanisms (fixed-length flying shears or flying saws), punching, and rib-pressing post-processing steps. Through the production method of "continuous forming + high-efficiency fixed length/cutting", the coil forming machine can achieve highly consistent and repeatable product dimensions and low material waste, and is widely used in building materials, steel structures, industrial profiles and other industries.
